My Experience working with a 1950's house that is approx 11'x12' an be very challenging.Ihe cabinets I purchased were some of the best quality and finished, bar none.Service and communication was also excellent.

Why I should win This was a complete 'tear out". Plumbing,electrical. walls, floor,trim, countertops, appliances and of course, your cabinets. my nephew and I accomplished this complete remodel in 9 days, from start to finish.

My Experience I found Kitchen Pro on the internet while researching cabinets for my massive room addition & kitchen remodel. I was looking for white solid wood cabinetry and I wasn't having much luck at the big box chains with regards to my very tight budget of $5500. My original kitchen was a "1946 nightmare" that was only about 8' x 8'. We expanded the kitchen space to roughly 10' x 16' by adding a room addition to the back of the house, and by taking out a wall between the kitchen and a very small dining area. Our entire budget for the kitchen & room addition was $30,000. After working with Kitchen Pro Designer Vicki, I was amazed to find that I saved $2500 by using Kitchen Pro and Not the local stores, and I got better cabinets too! Vicki was extremely helpful and informative. She made design suggestions that I wouldn't have thought of. Without her keen eye, our project would not have been possible! On a side note, I would like to add that most of the materials for my Kitchen remodel were purchased from the internet, (flooring, appliances, lighting, door/cabinet hardware, faucet, and even the sink. The prices I found on the internet were cheeper, and I didn't have to pay sales tax or shipping for almost anything. My Husband and I worked as a team with our contractor to do a large portion of the work. We demolished walls, purchase materials, hung drywall & trim, put together that cabinets, installed appliances, and painted everything. The whole project took about a year. We worked almost every weekend and most evenings. (we both work full time) There were moments that we thought we would never get finished. We are so grateful to Kitchen pro for offering a product that exceeded our expectations.
We finally finished on Nov.20th. Now we can enjoy the holidays in style!

Why I should win It would be great to win. We have never won a contest before. Our kitchen project has taken a year of hard work and planning with a very tight budget.
We met our budget, learned a lot of new skills, shared insights with neighbors, and created something beautiful. Friends and family that once stood in the doorway to our 8' x 8' kitchen are amazed and astounded. My Experience Our kitchen was in desperate need for a face lift. We had a blue vinyl floor, and old oak cabinets some were missing the bottoms of the base cabinets. Doors falling off and a counter top that would make you sick. My wife and I set ourselves with an $8,000 budget and we got started. I first started to explore cabinets locally, and quickly realized if I wanted to stay within my budget I needed to by junk cabinets. So I decided to go online and came across Kitchen Pros website. I must say, I was a little concerned buying cabinets from over 3000 miles away, but the reviews were great and the customers service (Designer) I worked with was A+. I started to feel more comfortable with it. Anyways I made the purchase of the Honey Maple cabinets and the rest is history. Everyone that comes into the house for the first time says that the kitchen looks like an add right out of a magazine. I must say this makes you feel pretty good.

Why I should win I feel that I should win, because the kitchen is a high end comfortable, warm, and yet on a relitively small budget. With this quality of cabinets, soft closing slides, 5" dentil molding, granite counter tops, under cabinet lighting, recessed lights, new floor, convection micro, top quality facet and more. Kitchen pro made it possible to get a high end kitchen for such a great price. I did all work myself with an exception of the counter tops.

My Experience I had to gut my whole kitchen because of a flood. I ordered my cabins from Kitchen Pro. At first it was very hard because of the many choices but I had a budget to stick too so I had to keep my budget in mind. For the budget I had, I must say that I could not have gone anywhere else and gotten the quality for less. My cabins have a quality and very rich look to them and I did not pay a high price to get them. I had some issues after I received my cabins but my cabins are far better than the problems. I could not have gone anywhere else to get the same quality for the price. In the end my cabins are one of the best features of my kitchen and I am often asked where did I get my cabins from?

Why I should win I should win because one, I put my cabins together all by myself. Two, I helped to install my cabins and three, I decorated my kitchen myself. I painted my kitchen, I put the back splash up myself, which was my first time working with tile. I even helped to install my wood floors. I have friends wanting me to help them with their home projects and I have no experience or schooling in design or decorating. I can now set back and say I did this myself and I did not pay a lot of money to make it to happen.

My Experience We bought a "landmark" home in our area that had gone into foreclosure. The house had great bones, but needed many updates, especially in the kitchen! My $20,000 kitchen budget was going to be eaten up by cabinet costs until I found Kitchen Pro. They had the exact cabinets that I wanted for a fourth of my budget! My Experience This house was purchased as a foreclosure. There was mold on the walls and a deteriorated kitchen floor where the subfloor had to be replaced.

Why I should win This kitchen was a major transformation including the addition of an island, a refrigerator cabinet, extensive base cabinets, and extra tall wall cabinets with crown molding. Expansive, textured countertops polished off the warm feel of this new kitchen. With a very small budget, this kitchen has a much greater upscale appearance and functionality.

My Experience Our kitchen started with a crazy idea of knocking the wall between our kitchen and our dinningroom. I went to the local box stores and was blown away by the cost of kitchen cabinets. I tried a couple of places on line, but they didn't have much variety. Somehow I ran accross kitchen pro and boy I'm glad I did! Everyone was great to deal with. I received my cabinets quickly and they were great with customer service afterword. The cabinets were easy to build and install. We couldn't be happier!



Why I should win It's hard to say that our kitchen is the best or is better than anyone else's, because none of us have the same space or are in the same situation, but I do think that our kitchen is the best for us. When I think back to how our space was before the remodel, it pales in comparison. My Experience This was our 1st renovation in our townhouse. At first, we was nervous, but after receiving advice from the Kitchen Pro guys it was one best things we could've done for our house.

Why I should win Our kitchen looks amazing! We were able to do all of the flooring, plumbing, electrical and cabinet installation. The granite was the only part that needed an outside installer. The results hopefully speak for themselves. We could not be happier.

My Experience When we bought the house, we had a 5 year plan, in that 5 years, we redid the bathroom, den, roofing, all new electrical, plumbing and finally the kitchen. Our kitchen had only 4 cabinets on the bottom, no upper cabinets at all. We researched the cost of cabinets at home improvements stores and at kitchen & baths stores. Why I should win I had a car accident a few years ago and wanted a ranch home without any stairs. With my husband and I being in our 40's+, we decided to buy a smaller home that needed some work. We bought an 1969 home with the original everything, and it definately needed some owrk. I loved the floor plan and the location of the home, but the kitchen needed a major renovation. We went from having a dark and dreadful kitchen, with only 4 bottom cabinets. My Experience I had purchased a property with a guest house that was in horrendous shape. The place had been seriously neglected, and to make matters worse, the former owners had left a couple of dogs in the unit who destroyed the existing kitchen. I had to gut it down to the walls.

Why I should win This kitchen, while small, features all the amenities you'd find in a bigger kitchen. Normally in small guest houses you don't find dishwashers or built in microwaves. My Experience My husband and I were able to remodeled our kitchen ourselves thanks to Kitchen Pro! We saved thousands upon thousands of dollars! We interviewed several "Cabinet Makers" that were charging up to $30,000 for cabinets alone. Not to mention we still needed a granite counter top and a back-splash. When we first came across Kitchen Pro we thought that if something is too good to be true then it probably isn't true. Thankfully we live only 30 minutes from their showroom. We made an appointment with Caasi, our rep, and took a tour of their showroom. The quality was outstanding and we found the perfect cabinets for our kitchen. We couldn't believe for the price they included all the extra things like self-closing drawers. It was crazy! We were sold! Our rep, Caasi, was amazing to work with. Why I should win I think our kitchen should win because of the incredible value and the proof that home owners can "do it themselves". Before we found Kitchen Pro we had been quoted up to $50,000 to remodel our kitchen. This really was NOT an option for us because we simply could not afford it. We are a one income family since I stay home to raise our two boys. We are however "do it yourselves" and were willing to put in the "sweat equity". My Experience We recently bought our first home which was a short sale. The kitchen like most of the house was in poor shape. We spent 13k and replaced everything but the floors. My Experience When I moved into my townhome/condo, it was one of the better units available in Boulder County for a reasonable price and for the size I wanted; however, the kitchen was a little outdated with 80's appliances and very orangy oak cabinets. The kitchen doesn't get any natural light and wasn't pleased with how dark it was. I began looking first at refacing the cabinets with Maple to lighten it up and got a price of $12,300 for the refacing (There are an amazing 31 total cabinets in my small "L" shaped kitchen). I signed a contract for the refacing after being sold on it by the company but then really did research into other options and found that I could do brand new cabinets for less than the refacing. I immediately cancelled my contract (within day's of signing it). Lowes wanted upcharges on every little thing but then I found Kitchenspro and looked into the reviews online. They seemed reputable and so I went ahead with a design consultation and made some minor changes from that. I was extremely impressed with the amount of help they provided during the design process. The order process was straight forward, I recieved my cabinets and am very happy with the way things turned out.

Why I should win Though I don't have a big beautiful kitchen that you would find in a magazine or real houses with those who can afford $30,000 upgrade projects, my kitchen I feel can hold it's own against similarly sized and type of kitchens. I was blown away that my cabinets cost only $3279 (remember for 31 cabinets/drawers) and that was with crown moulding, 36" cabinets, soft close drawers, and pull out drawers in some of the lower cabinets! The countertop at $2500 installed was nearly as much as the cabinets. It's really difficult to beat this. What a deal! Installed travertine subway tiles in a brick pattern with inlets of a stone/glass mosaic tile to blend the cabinets in with the new granite countertop. Installed new appliances from a Black Firday sale and under cabinet lighting to give a nice highlight to the new cabinets and contrast with the dark granite. Next on the list is different lighting but haven't got to that project yet. In a down economy, saving the amount I did by going through Kitchenspro was a blessing. Thank you so much Kitchenspro!

My Experience We had a pretty ugly kitchen in our apartment, so it was time for an upgrade. We went to a number of different places for quotes and prices were thousands more than we wanted to pay. Kitchen Pro was about half the cost of other store. It is a great value, if you are willing to put some work in yourself.

Why I should win We took our kitchen down to the drywall and subfloor. We were able to splurge on high end flooring and appliances due to the money we saved on cabinets.

My Experience Here's the bottom line... Home Depot quoted us $24,000 (for a maple door and cheap drawer glides), Kitchenspro.com sold us at $5600 plus 2 additional vanities (with ALL the bells and whistles AND MORE!!!). Here's our story...
We were in the process of building a new house. The builder gave us a quote for a basic oak kitchen with some nasty drawers. We went to the actual installer for another quote for an upgrade and the price that he quoted us was around $7000 for a basic oak with a little design and some upgrades on the drawers. Finally, we went to Home Depot and they told us to give them everything we "wished" for, which was a harder word, with a little bit of a design on the door and no upgrades on the drawers or doors. Their quote...$24,000, but... they had a minor discount, if you bought it by a certain date and spent a certain amount. Well, none of these suited our budget. Finally, we found Kitchenspro.com THANK GOODNESS!! Their quote blew me away. We got a quote from them for $5600. Get this... we gave them the Home Depot print out and they upgraded EVERYTHING compared to H.D. PLUS we got a vanity for both of our bathrooms. (Only 1 is pictured) We have the Cherry Walnut door, which is an absolutely beautiful piece.

Why I should win Here's the bottom line... Home Depot quoted us $24,000 (for a maple door and cheap drawer glides), Kitchenspro.com sold us at $5600 plus 2 additional vanities, 2 glass doors, sliding drawers, drawer glides, handles (with ALL the bells and whistles AND MORE!!!). I can't imagine someone beating this price!

My Experience Our 1954 rambler that we had lived in for 15 years had the original kitchen;yellow Formica counters that were burned and torn, a total of four cabinets (we kept all out large pots, small appliances and pantry food in our basement), no dish washer, and the space was too small for our family of six to sit together. We had wanted to redo the kitchen from the day we moved in but always put it off as being too expensive a project. We received design estimates for thousands of dollars, cabinet estimates of $15,000 & up and knew there must be a better way. We found Kitchen Pro on the internet and were a bit apprehensive about the quality of their cabinets and the promised free design help. Could it too good to be true? We sent in our measurements including the plans to knock down a wall between the kitchen and dining room and David Turek designed an awesome kitchen! He listened to our needs went back and forth with different options till we were 100% satisfied. The cabinets are beautiful and well constructed. My Experience We were so excited to learn about Kitchen Pro and even more impressed when we began our project. We needed to revise our floor plan, not just a face lift, and we needed to maintain a reasonable budget. Kitchen Pro made our remodel not only affordable but a fun experience as well. Quotes from others turned out to be 3 times more expensive and was for particle board boxes. The quality of Kitchen Pro cabinets were superior; made w/plywood construction, dove tail joints on the drawers and the assembly was easy with the help of Kitchen Pro web site instructions. Our designer, Vicki, was patient and encouraging with all of our questions and made very helpful suggestions to get the most out of our space. During the project Kitchen Pro was also available for follow up questions and easy to work with. Why I should win A picture is worth a thousand words, as you can see, our original kitchen was a small 10 x 10 foot crowded galley with limited cabinet space and no room to work. We expanded our kitchen to a 10 x 20 foot grand kitchen with a big island in the middle. We enjoy having plenty of space to work and store everything. We were discouraged about our plan due to the price and were debating about downsizing. Kitchen pro made it possible with a price tag of $6500 for the cabinets. I was able to do the installation which also saved money so that we were able to get the more expensive counter tops that we wanted. We have enjoyed our kitchen and cooking at home. My Experience We saved for a few years in order to remodel our kitchen. After pricing new cabinets at the big home stores, we found out we couldn�t afford them. So shopping online was our next option. We looked at 4 or 5 different companies. Kitchen Pro had the design we wanted and could actually afford. They were a third the price! The staff was really helpful as ours was a special order. Our cabinets are well made (no particle board) and we�re really pleased with the way our kitchen looks now. The only thing we didn�t like was waiting for them to be delivered!!

My Experience Our new kitchen cabinets required wood with a simple design that is painted white for easy maintenance and sanitary reasons. Our new ceramic tile floor is white and so are our existing kitchen appliances such as the referigerator, dishwasher, stove top and kitchen hood.

We first went to several national chain large companies. Their prices are in the range of between $5,000.00 and $8,000.00 which is above our budget. We went to three other local companies that specialize in kitchen cabinets. Their prices are about the same as the larger companies.

We decided to search the Internet and even corresponded with at least three other cabinet companies and one of them is from China. Then we got in touch with Kitchen Pro Cabinetry from California. We just could not believe their prices are so much lower than the others that we have previously contacted. They did warn us that the white cabinets are priced higher than the regular ones because they are on “special orders”, and delivery takes between 30 to 50 days longer than the others. They are polite and reasonable in answering difficult questions. Although we did wait a long time for the deliveries but we have no regrets. In the end we are very pleased with the results.

My Experience We lived in our house for 28 years and it was time for a Kitchen make over. We had a couple of estimates and both were really high and not what we wanted. My Experience We had a builder construct our lake house and we finished out many of the interior items ourselves to save money. My friend and I assembled and installed these cabinets in a weekend. We saved thousands of dollars and were able to use upgraded cabinets for much less than the builder grade cabinet quote.

Why I should win Our kitchen is the focal point of our small, open floor plan lake view home. It is warm and inviting and we did all the work ourselves....including cutting down the wall pantry to fit our small space. It may not be the most lavish kitchen, but it is certainly one of the nicest for our limited budget. The hand scraped hickory floors were also installed by us and were a bargain buy at $2.70 sq/ft.

My Experience We left the kitchen of our 1905 Venice Beach house as the last part of our home renovation. After we had our plan, and decided to do all of the work ourselves, we found Kitchenpro's website. They had the perfect cabinet style we wanted (Shaker), great choice of finishes (we have Urban Beech), and great prices. We picked up the boxes at their warehouse, and put the cabinets together. The finished interiors are wonderful, and we particularly like the drawer construction. Also the doors are already hinged, we didn't have to adjust them at all. We are very pleased with our cabinets.

Why I should win We had plans to have major changes made to the first floor of the house and especially this strangely shaped room which is the original tiny kitchen (just the sink area up to the spice shelves) and a large butler's pantry and storage closet opened up in the 80's. My Experience I never thought I could ever afford a new kitchen! I hated my old 1970's kitchen and didn't like cooking any more. I kept dreaming some day I may have one and ketp looking at all the remodeling show. But when they said what the budget was I knew I would never be able to afford that.

My Experience For Mother’s Day 2009 my husband bought me an electric sander so I could start stripping the many layers of paint off of the old, ugly kitchen cabinets in our 1952 galley kitchen. It was the gift I requested for the small project I was about to undertake. Unfortunately, the bottom layer of paint contained lead. Why I should win My husband and I did all the work on our kitchen completely by ourselves and we are still married! Because we have two small daughters, ages 3 and 1, we did most of the work from 8 p.m. until 3 a.m. each night after we put them to sleep. My Experience When looking around for our first house to buy we both decided it would be great to buy a fixer-upper. After 5 offers falling through we found this diamond in the rough, and when I say rough... I mean ROUGH! This house, originally built in the 50s, had been added onto a couple of times and uninhabited for a couple of years. When we bought it there was a small galley kitchen with no oven and two empty spaces on either side of the room where the washer and dryer were supposed to go. We could barely fit in the space together, but there was a spacious breakfast room that had been added on in one of those additions. We decided to check into the possibility of moving the kitchen and with Kitchen Pro the vision became reality. We knocked down walls, added walls, had the water moved and the window replaced, we layed bamboo flooring and chose a glass tile backspash to compliment both the granite countertops and our Modern Chocolate cabinets. My Experience Our old kitchen needed a serious facelift. The kitchen was old, tired and small. There was only 16 square feet of counter space with only the 70’s style cabinets above that for storage. The room itself was only 9 x 11 and overcrowded. I wanted the new kitchen to be stylish, well built, spacious, and affordable. We took down 2 walls and a drop ceiling creating a great room with the kitchen, dining and family room. My wife now has over 60 square feet of counter space with the storage to go with it. Also, the space in the corner by the refrigerator has a roll-out wastebasket holder, again maximizing space that would have been wasted. even the alcove by the window has 4 wall cabinets that I used as base cabinets to make more storage. you'll notice the base trim I used there was actually made from the refrigerator wall because I had to raise those cabinets about 8 inches from the floor to clear heater pipes underneath.

I should win because this kitchen really illustrates how you CAN do more with less. where else can you get over 20 cabinets with all those neat features I mentioned for under $4,000? If I didn't have all the flexibility of cabinet types and sizes you offer, I would not have been able to have all these cabinets fit together and would have had alot of unused space or otherwise needed expensive custom cabinetry.

My Experience I had bought an old (1918) house in Oklahoma city that was in very bad shape and didn't really have any kitchen to speak of (just a sink that didn't work). I ended up having to tear out about half of the floor to the floor joists because of water damage and also tore out all the old lathe and plaster walls to the studs so that I could run new electrical and plumbing as well as insulation. I was wanting some good solid wood cabinets but since I'm a student, I didn't really have a lot of money to put into expensive cabinets. When I was researching online, I found Kitchens Pro and decided that it looked like the best product for the money. I also consulted Kitchens Pro about the design because it is a relatively small space (about 10'x13') and am very pleased with my final result. I put up new drywall/cement board, assembled and installed the cabinets, and decided to frame out and pour cement countertops because they gave me the thick look that I wanted for very cheap. I finished the project by tiling the floors and backsplash and adding a feaux finish to the walls. I also finished it off with some nice stainless steel appliances that I bought at a local dent and ding store for about half price. The cabinets look great and are a lot nicer than anything else I found for the money.

Why I should win I think that My kitchen is very nice and very functional for the limited space that I had to work with. I even managed to squeeze a small bar area in. My Experience My wife and I decided to build our own house and really needed to stay on a budget, but wanted quality as well. We came across Kitchens Pro and assumed it had to be too good to be true, but after ordering a sample we sent our diagram in and with great ease, our kitchen was ready to assemble. Setup was very easy and we are still blow away by the quality and look. Nobody believes we ordered this kitchen on the internet, it truly is the standout room in our new house!

Why I should win My wife and I have done a few minor fix ups in our old house, so to take on a task of designing an entire house and doing much of the labor, while both having full time jobs was a task to say the least. We really got great space, value and appearance with this kitchen. We got prices from Lowes, Home Depot etc, and we paid three to four times the cost of what we felt were inferior product. For a couple who was only married about a year to do as much as we did and make it work on a budget and with style is a tribute to Kitchens Pro and a little courage to do some DIY work. My Experience My family and I are building a weekend home in the Catskill Mountains of New York. My Experience I have owned my home for 20 years, and the kitchen was at least 50 years old when I bought it. My ex-husband always said that I would never have a new kitchen because of the plaster walls. My Dad, and my son and I decided to try to install a new kitchen, and see what happened when we ripped the old cupboards off. Vicki was absolutely terrific. She rearranged the design of my whole kitchen to make it so much fun to work in. I am a single mom with two boys, and they eat a lot, so I am always cooking. I always wanted oak cupboards, and I got exactly what I wanted. This was extra special, because this turned into a family project with my boys and my parents. It was a lot of work, but we appreciate the cupboards, and the kitchen is absolutely beautiful. I spoke with Vicki numerous times, and as I mentioned, she was excellent. Why I should win I think my family and I should win, because this was a true family project. Even my 11 year old son helped build the cupboards. We very recently had a garage fire, and the only thing my whole family worried about in the house (including me) was our beautiful kitchen. Luckily there was no damage to the house, and my kitchen is still beautiful. I hired Bedrock granite to install granite countertops and backsplash, because I was worried the boys may burn the countertop with a hot pot. We all take the time to get out the cutting boards, and even the boys will wipe up after themselves most of the time.

My Experience We remodeled the interior of a 50's ranch style home in California. We vaulted the ceilings and added trusses to give the home a rustic appeal. We wanted cabinets that could add to the home's warmth. My Experience Our project started in November 2008. My wife and I decided it was time to upgrade from the original kitchen of 1967 to our dream kitchen. We shopped the local home and kitchen stores to get design ideas and pricing. Initially we were taken aback at the amount it costs to renovate a kitchen, particularly the price of cabinets. My Experience We purchased the house from the bank after the previous owner attempted a remodel. The House was in such disarray it required a tear down to the foundation and a complete reconstruction of the House. Only parts of the foundation and existing outside 2 x 6 frame remain from the original construction. In addition approximately an additional one thousand square feet of living space was added. A small kitchen was replaced with a modern 22 x 16 foot open kitchen. A center island with a Jenn-Air downdraft barbecue and four place burner. Incorporated into the island was a breakfast bar. A walk in food pantry was built in and maple cabinetry was installed throughout the remaining walls. Exotic import granite and travertine were used for flooring and countertops. The granite countertops were inlaid with maple matching the cabinetry. The center island has cabinets on both sides. I am a general contractor and all construction was completed by my company and it's staff.

Needless to say the quality and workmanship of the cabinets and trim accessories that you offer is impeccable, and superior to many of the cabinets we looked at from many different manufacturers. My Experience We had water damage in our old kitchen, so we had to tare out every thing, our cabinets were built-in's, so we had to replace just about every thing.I fugered why not remodel while we were going to have to gut the kitchen anyway, I talked my husband into this, but we didn't have a large budget to work with.
